That is a myth perpetrated by men. Dragons will often honor the sacrifice of a virgin because it is a sign that the humans are becoming desperate. One can either accept the sacrifice, or face the very probable next step of fighting dragonslayers. Hmph. Well I don't appreciate being laughed at.
